Key Ingredients

Used in phytotherapy since antiquity and even before, valerian, Valeriana officinalis, was used to relieve several ailments including insomnia and nervous contractions. This is certainly why its name comes from the Latin valere, to be strong, to be well. Today, many studies have suggested its effectiveness for sleep disorders, agitation and nervousness. The only disadvantage of this plant is the unpleasant smell of its dried root, especially in infusion.

Passionflower, Passiflora incarnata, is a climbing herb with splendid brightly colored flowers. Discovered by the Spanish explorers, they learned its uses thanks to the Aztecs. Today, many studies have suggested its effectiveness on sleep disorders caused by nervousness.

Hops, Humulus lupulus, essential to brewing beer, is used by the traditional medicines of many civilizations (Greek, Roman, Amerindian, Chinese, Indian). Its flowers, called strobile, are recognized in herbal medecine to relieve agitation and sleep disorders.

The linden tree, Tilia sylvestris or Little-Leaf linden, is a native tree of Europe. Its very scented yellow flowers are usedin herbal medecine to calm agitation.

Lemon balm, Melissa officinalis, is an herbaceous plant widely used in traditional medicine and cooking. Its leaves and flowers are used in herbal medecine to calm nervous agitation.
